Signing in to Mote on iPhone or iPad
Mote for iOS uses the same Mote account you use everywhere else. There are two ways in, and neither needs a password on the device.
Continue with Google
Tap Continue with Google and pick your account. If your school uses Google, this is usually the quickest route.
Continue with Email
Mote sends a sign-in link rather than asking for a password or a code.
- Tap Continue with Email and enter your email address.
- Tap Send Sign-in Link.
- Open the email and tap the link. It returns you to the app and signs you in.
The confirmation screen offers a shortcut to whichever mail app you have installed, plus Resend email and Use a different email if you typed the wrong address.
If the link does not work
Sign-in links can only be used once. If you tap an older link, or one that has already been used, the app brings the email sheet back so you can request a fresh one. Check your spam folder if the email does not arrive.
