Inserting an image into a PDF
You can place an image onto a PDF as an annotation: a diagram, a worked example, a reference image, or a photo of student work.
Adding an image
- Open the PDF in Mote PDF.
- Choose to insert an image and pick one from Google Drive.
- Position it where you want it on the page.
It becomes part of the document
Mote writes the image into the PDF, so it travels with the file when you save or share it. Whoever opens the document next sees the image, whether or not they use Mote.
What it is useful for
- Adding visual supports to a worksheet, such as a diagram or a worked example.
- Dropping in a screenshot or a photo of student work without leaving the document.
- Giving a student a reference image beside the question it relates to.
Images sit alongside the other mark-up tools: see Marking up a PDF and Adding a signature to a PDF.
