Sending content to Mote from another app
To read web content or a PDF using the Mote app, you can start your journey from any other app on your iPad. Anything you can share on iOS can be sent to Mote to read.
How
- Tap the iOS Share button in Safari, Mail, Files or any other app.
- Choose Mote.
- Mote opens with the item ready to read.
What you can send
- A web link, which opens as a clean article.
- A PDF or document, which opens in the reader.
- A photo or image, which goes through Scan Text so the words can be read aloud.
- Selected text from a page.
Two things to know
You need to be signed in to Mote for sharing to work. The app will prompt you if you are not. Shared content follows the same plan rules as everything else, so on the free plan you will see the upgrade screen.
