Does mote work with iPads, iPhones or Android phones?

Yes!

On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, use the Mote iOS app, Mote - Read Aloud & Writer. It includes Read Aloud, Scan Text, Translation, Voice Recording, Speech to Text, and a Writer. See How do I use the Mote mobile app? for a full walkthrough.

On Android there is no Mote app, but students and colleagues on any device can still hear and read the voice notes you create. Voice notes are rendered as unique URLs that any browser can access.

To create voice notes on a Chromebook or desktop, use the Mote Chrome Extension or the web recorder.

In Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Google Classroom.

Please note that there is a slight difference in user experience for students and teachers within Google Classroom. Students should be able to click all mote URLs, while teacher accounts may not be able to click the links within Private Comments.
