My mote recordings are silent and my microphone isn't working

 

If your mote recordings are silent, it is probably because you have an issue with your microphone. Here's how to diagnose and resolve:

1. Check your computer's settings to see which microphone is in use. If you have added any new devices to your computer recently, for example a new camera or a wireless headset, that might explain the issue. 

2. If you can't immediately figure out the microphone settings, or if you've changed the microphone and things still aren't working, try restarting your computer. 

3. If you've restarted your computer, and you are still getting silence, try attaching an external headset or microphone to your computer and then ensure that is selected as the audio source in your system settings.
