How can I use Mote to provide context and instructions on web pages? AKA 'Sticky motes'?
What are 'sticky motes'?
"Sticky motes" are motes that are 'stuck' to a webpage. Which means, if you share a link to that mote, recipients will get to hear your mote AND to see the page that you shared.
Here's how it works!
1. Navigate to any webpage with content that you might want to share.
2. Click the Mote icon in your browser bar (or the 'puzzle' icon first, to 'pin' Mote to your browser bar).
3. Select the 'Record on URL' option
4. Record your mote.
5. Share the link to your mote (it will be copied to the clipboard - you can click 'My Activity' to find it and to review the transcript).
5. Anyone receiving your mote see either (a) a Mote 'landing page' with a preview and link to your shared site OR (b) if they have the Mote Chrome Extension they'll be re-directed to the shared web page, with your Mote embedded.
(a) Landing page with webpage preview (users without the Mote Chrome extension, including users on mobile devices)
(b) Your mote, playable on your shared webpage
