What languages does Mote support?
Availability of languages for Read Aloud, transcription and translation is limited by the offerings of the major Cloud service providers, in particular Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and Deepgram. Unfortunately many indigenous languages are not supported by these platforms currently. Generally, if we learn of a need for an additional language we are able to accommodate this request - please submit requests via www.mote.com/feedback

You can see a full list of currently supported languages by clicking on the mote extensions. In the sidebar you can see the languages available for Read Aloud by selecting the language icon during text-to-speech. You can also see the languages available for text translation by selecting the ‘text to translate’ icon. Finally, when recording a mote, the translation options can be found when clicking on the ‘I’m speaking’ button under speech-to-text.
Please note: Read Aloud, voice-to-text transcription and text-to-text translation are features supported by our Unlimited tier.
