What is Mote Loops, and how does it work?
Mote Loops is a new product from Mote that aims to make feedback significantly more engaging and measurable. Here's a 'Mote Minute' video that introduces the feature:
Mote Loops is integrated within the Mote Chrome Extension, so there's no new downloads required to access it, if you're already a Mote user. If you're not already using Mote get started by downloading the extension here.
Mote Loops is currently in beta, and is being rolled out to all users over the coming weeks. If you're in the Beta test, you'll see something like the button below when you're reviewing Student work within Google Classroom.
When Mote Loops is toggled 'on', you'll see a short text link pasted into your comment, after your written text.
Once posted, your student will see an interactive card that looks like the one below, with two simple response options.
When students click one of the options, they will be rewarded with an age-appropriate meme, before being asked if they have any additional comment to share.
Student engagement and responses are aggregated in a daily email report, and are also accessible from your 'My Loops' page.
Loops is an experimental feature, and we'd love to hear your feedback on how we can improve and develop the product. Please share feedback and suggestions here.
