What is Mote Loops, and how does it work?

What is Mote Loops?

Mote Loops encourages students to engage with teacher feedback by creating interactive two-way voice communication. When you leave voice feedback for students, Loops prompts them to respond — creating a dialogue that ensures students understand how to move forward.

How It Works

For Teachers

  1. When reviewing student work in Google Classroom, toggle Mote Loops 'on' when leaving voice feedback
  2. A short link is added to your comment alongside your voice note
  3. Students see an interactive card with simple response options

For Students

  1. Listen to your teacher's voice feedback
  2. Click one of the response options to show you've engaged with the feedback
  3. Optionally add a reply or additional comment

Tracking Engagement

Student engagement and responses are aggregated in a daily email report and are also accessible from your 'My Loops' page on the Mote dashboard. This helps you:

  • See which students have listened to and engaged with your feedback
  • Identify students who may need additional support
  • Track feedback effectiveness over time
