How do I save and re-use Mote recordings using the Motebook?

If you ever find yourself repeating the same comments to multiple students, perhaps it's time to try using the motebook to save and re-use your mote messages! 💜💜

The motebook is essentially a Comment Bank that is easily accessible within the Mote Chrome Extension and from within most Mote integrations.

Motebook is a premium feature available to all Unlimited tier users, including Unlimited trial users.

Saving voice notes to your motebook

To save a voice note to your motebook, just click the 'Star' button from an existing voice note card, or from the edit screen

Give your saved mote a name so that you can easily find it when you need it.

Accessing and re-using motes

To re-use a mote is saved to your motebook, first open the motebook by holding down the Mote 'M' button for about 1 second.

You'll then see your saved voice notes in your motebook menu.

You'll see a reminder of the text of your voice note when you hover over the motebook entry.

As your motebook grows, you may want to use the search functionality to find the right saved mote.

Click to select your voice note from your motebook, and a copy will be pasted into your comment box. You can then review the voice note using Preview, or just hit 'Comment' or 'Reply' to post.

Please note that motebook is only available to Unlimited tier users, and that there is a 100-mote limit.
