Do my students need a Mote account if I'm using Mote?

Your students don't need a mote account if you're using our Chrome extension to record voice feedback. BUT there are so many other amazing features Mote offers that we're sure your students would love to use.

Do students need to have the Chrome extension?

No. Everything's better with the Chrome extension installed, but it is not needed.

Do students need to log in to hear Mote voice notes?

No - they do not need to log in, unless you have set your Privacy settings to require this.

Do students need a Mote account?

No - students can hear your voice notes anonymously, and do not need an account, unless you have set your privacy settings to require this.

Is there a limit to the number of motes that a Free user can hear?

No - there are no limits on the amount of motes that Free users can hear

If I have a paid Mote account, will my students also be able to record Unlimited motes?

No - your students will need their own Mote Unlimited or Schools plan accounts to create more than the regular Free plan limits.
