Does Mote support Clever?
Does Mote integrate with Clever?
No. Mote does not currently support Clever for sign-in or for rostering. However, most schools that use Clever use Mote without issue by signing in with their Google accounts.
How do users sign in to Mote?
Mote supports three ways to log in:
- Sign in with Google (Recommended): The simplest option. It unlocks the widest range of features, including Google Slides integration.
- Sign in with ClassLink: Full SSO is available via the ClassLink launchpad.
- Email login link: Mote can email a one-time login link.
Note: If your school uses Clever, your users almost always have a Google Workspace account. They can sign in to Mote directly with those Google credentials.
How are Mote licenses allocated to users?
Mote does not pull rosters from Clever. Admins can allocate licenses using the following methods:

| School (part of a District) | Email address, CSV upload | Use if you share a domain with schools that don't have licenses. |
| Group / Department | Email address, CSV upload | Best for small teams or specific grades. |
Will Mote add Clever support?
Clever support is not on our roadmap right now. If Clever support is essential for your school, please email support@mote.com to let us know.
