Help - my mote recordings are failing due to Internet connection issues

Unlike video recordings, motes don't have heavy bandwidth needs for recording or playback. However, to record a mote you will need a reasonably reliable upload speed to ensure that we receive all of your data.

If you are reading this article, you may have been informed that your bandwidth is inadequate. You can test your bandwidth at a site like https://www.speedtest.net/ or just try Googling speed test. 

If your fixed line internet connection is unstable, you should be able to record and play back motes using your cellular connection with at least 3G speeds. You'll need to 'tether' your phone to your computer to do this - here's a video showing how to do this:
