How do I update my Mote extension to the latest version?

To access the latest Mote features, you'll need to have the latest version of our extension.

In Chrome

Go to the Mote Chrome Extension page at www.mote.com/chrome

If you see the option to 'Remove from Chrome', click that button.

Confirm the removal.

Once removed, the click 'Install extension' to upgrade to the latest version.

Q: What if I don't see the option to 'Remove from Chrome'?

A: If you are using a managed device or managed browser, you may instead see 'Installed'.

In order to update to the latest version of Mote immediately, you will need to click on the 'puzzle' icon in your browser bar, and then 'Manage Extensions'.

On the Extensions tab (chrome://extensions/ ) in the top-right corner, you can enable the 'Developer Mode' toggle. Then click 'Update' to update Mote (and any other extensions) to the latest released version.

If you are a Google Admin, and have deployed the Mote extension to your managed devices, please ensure that you have not checked the 'Version pinning' option.

Instead, your settings should show 'Not pinned - inherited from Google default'
