Welcome to the new mote card!

With our new, re-designed mote cards your voice notes are now more accessible and engaging than ever. Here's a rundown of the awesome new features that we've added. 

Profile image

Your voice notes are coming from you, so your profile image is central to the new mote card. By default we use your Google profile image, but it's easy to change this by heading to your Mote Account Profile page and uploading a new image. 

Transcript

If you've enabled speech-to-text, your transcript will now be displayed while your recipients are listening, adding to the impact and accessibility of your voice note. Recipients can also access the full transcript by clicking or tapping on the button in the top-right of the mote card, and they then also have the option to copy the full text.

Translation

If your recipients are not native speakers, perhaps they would prefer a translation of your voice note? This is just a couple of clicks away, as shown in the image above. We support dozens of translation languages, and every recipient can choose their own preferred language. 

Card color scheme

We've released the new mote cards with two color scheme options - 'Classic' (white) and 'Mulberry'. In the coming weeks and months we'll be introducing more options, including the ability to tailor mote cards to match  your company or school branding. Stay tuned!

Hands free accessibility

Mote cards are compatible with screen readers and all functionality can be accessed via keyboard shortcuts. You can learn more here.
